How to Mint NFT on OpenSea for free?

Step 1: Visit OpenSea using your Metamask browser

Step 2: Connect your wallet to Ethereum/Polygon Main Network.

Step 3: Create your NFT and Upload

Step 4: Confirmation

Step 5: Put a price tag and sell your NFT

You will need a Crypto Wallet to continue. For this article, we will be using Metamask on Android.

Currently, OpenSea Marketplace supports MetaMask, TrustWallet, Coinbase Wallet, WalletConnect, Fortmatic, and more.

1. Visit OpenSea using your Metamask browser

Open your Metamask App > Browser > and go to https://opensea.io

2. Connect your wallet

Ensure your Metamask wallet can interact with OpenSea on the Ethereum Main Network or Polygon Main Net.

3. Create your NFT and Upload

After successful visiting OpenSea homepage, you will see a CREATE bar.

This will open your OpenSea NFT Creator where you can Mint your first NFT.

Click to attach file, add name, add description and click Create to upload.

4. Confirmation

Before your NFT gets uploaded on OpenSea, you will be prompt to select some confirmation by signing in and confirming you are not a robot.

This is followed by the below prompt also which automatically uploads and converts your file to an NFT!

If your upload is successful, you will see a congratulations message as displayed below

5. Add a price tag to sell your NFT

After uploading your NFT, it’s time to sell your NFT.

Click on SELL to initiate the sell of Your just minted NFT on OpenSea.

After clicking SELL, follow the next prompt to add your desires selling price and duration in the next page as seen below.

If everything has been completed, click on Complete Listing to sell your first NFT on OpenSea Marketplace.
