JAMB Change Of Course and Institution Complete Guide

You are about learn how to do JAMB Change of Course or institution from one to another.

This post will guide you on how you can simply change your course or institution especially if you have not been offered admission by JAMB or if you are offered a different course from what you earlier opted for.

How to Do JAMB Change of Course

The process of changing your course or institution is the same on JAMB portal. You are expected to make a payment of 2,500 naira before you can necessitate any of such change.

Below is a simple guide to carry this out. There is no special skill required as the process is very simple and short.

Step One: Login to your JAMB Portal

The first thing to do is to Visit the JAMB Login page and login to your JAMB dashboard using your email address and password. (Remember this is the email address and password you supplied during JAMB Registration).

Step Two: Go to the JAMB Registration Category

For the next, click on the The Registration link to the left of your dashboard to reveal its content. See Image below

Step Three: Click on UTME Data Correction

Now, click on the option UTME Data correction. You will be directed to a new page where you can make your payment.

You can click on make payment now to generate an invoice for payment. This payment will be done on remita platform. See here how to make payments on Remita

Step Four: Make Your Payment

You can either make your payment directly using your credit card online using the guide on the link provided above or you print out the remita RRR (invoice) and proceed to bank for payment.

Step Five: Effect Your Corrections

Finally, once you are done making payment. You can now log in back to your dashboard to effect the change you want.

To do this,

• Repeat steps one to three but this time you will not be asked to make any payment.
• Select Change of institution/course in the options displayed (Note: You can also use this payment for other changes – data correction)
• Select the Institution of choice for each categories. (if you are not changing the institution leave that section alone). Allow the page to load to effect this change. (Remember you can only change the 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice of institutions)
• Next is, select the choice of course and ones this is done click on save changes.

That is all, you have successfully done your JAMB Change of Course or Change of Institution as it were.
